This week, Boyd Hoyland makes a shock commitment to homeless teen Kayla and her newborn baby, but is he really thinking straight?
Having become close to Kayla (Virginia Ryan) – who had planned to give up her baby for Steph (Carla Bonner) and Max (Stephen Lovatt) to adopt – Boyd (Kyal Marsh) is feeling increasingly confused.
Despite the warnings from his father, Max, Boyd continues to visit Kayla and her child. It’s obvious to Boyd that Kayla, who gave birth to her baby with Boyd by her side, is having serious reservations about going through with the adoption.
“Boyd cares about Kayla and he wants her to keep her baby,” Kyal says. Later, Kayla confesses to Boyd that she would keep the baby if she had a partner to support her and Boyd tells her he’s the man to do just that!
