Determined to carry out his promise to teenage mother Kayla that he'll support her and her baby, Boyd asks his father, Max, and stepmother, Steph, if the three of them can live in the Hoyland house for the time being. Steph (Carla Bonner), who was preparing to adopt Kayla's baby until Kayla (Virginia Ryan) had a change of heart, is outraged. She asks Boyd (Kyal Marsh) how he will be mature enough to be a father if he can't respect other people's feelings. Max (Stephen Lovatt) disagrees and still wants to support his son. Devastated, Steph considers leaving Max!"
