Neighbours - Hall of Fame Inductee TV Week, Australia, 14th May 2005
Posing for a group photo after being inducted into the Logies Hall Of Fame, the Neighbours cast couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces. The dance routine they had just performed on the stage had everyone cheering. And, best of all, no one forgot their steps or, worse still, fell over.
"The dance was nerve-wracking," admits long-standing cast member Jackie Woodburne. "But for non-singers and non-dancers, I think we did a damn fine job. We were all so nervous but it went very quickly and it was great fun." Jackie was thrilled to learn the series was the 2005 Hall Of Fame inductee. "I think there's no more worthy show," Jackie, who plays jilted wife Susan Kennedy, says. "Twenty years is a reference for all Australian television and I'm so proud to have been a part of it for more than half of that time."
