Following her recent health scare, Janae makes a decision that stuns her boyfriend, Boyd: she's taking a vow of celibacy.
"Janae has realised there's so much more to a relationship than just the physical side of it," explains Eliza Taylor-Cotter, who plays the troubled teen. "She wants to prove herself and to Boyd that she can do it. She wants to put a ban on that side of things for quite a while."
Boyd (Kyal Marsh) agrees, but it remains to be seen just how much Janae's decision will affect their relationship.
"He finds it difficult but is very supportive and can understand why she's put the ban on." Eliza says, "What happened with her health scare definitely had a big impact on Janae, as it would anybody. It was a real wakeup call."
