Teenage lovers Janae and Boyd decide they can't wait another minute to be husband and wife. The pair decide to tie the knot straight away at the registry office. But will Janae (Eliza Taylor-Cotter) and Boyd's (Kyal Marsh) families, who have been far from supportive of their decision to wed, ruin their big day?
"Janae and Boyd really do love each other," Kyal says. "But they've felt betrayed by their families reactions. They've been really hurt by how their families responded when they handed out the wedding invitations." Kyal believes Janae originally had her heart set on a traditional wedding. "She's the type of girl who dreams about her wedding day. I don't think it's such a big deal for Boyd, but they've definitely both wanted their wedding to be bigger than what it is. But in the end, they both realise that what they want is to get married."
Heading to the registry office, Janae and Boyd only plan to have their siblings Bree (Sianoa Smit-McPhee) and Summer (Marisa Siketa) in attendance as their witnesses. But that is far from the case when Janelle (Nell Feeney) gatecrashes the event!
