Shattered when Janae unexpectedly dumps him, Boyd this week demands that she tell him whets really going on.
Finally, Janae(Eliza Taylor-Cotter) tells Boyd(Kyal Marsh) the truth - she's concerned that she has contacted a deadly blood disease from her ex-boyfriend, Mike(Alex Cappelli)!
"This is such a hard thing for Janae to have to tell Boyd," Eliza says. "She's tried hiding it every way possible but, in the end, with help of her family, she sees that being honest is the best wasy to tackle it.
"Boyd, of course, supports her the best way he can, but he's obviously very shocked. He goes through anger and then worry, but then he says, 'No, I'm going to stick by you.'"
Eliza, who's 16, admits she feels much sympathy for her character at this point. "Janae's just kicking herself," Eliza says. "I do feel for her. It's very full-on storyline. It's very hard with a situation like this - trying to put yourself in it. It's really emotional. There are so many people who have had to go through it for real."
