Max’s marriage to Steph appears to be back on track and life is finally looking up again for the Ramsay Street dad. But not for long! Max has no idea that a vindictive Elle (Pippa Black) – determined to seek revenge for the death of her brother, Cameron (Adam Hunter), whom Max (Stephen Lovatt) ran over in his car – is about to put a truly devious plan into action that will rock his world. Causing young Charlie to disappear while in Max’s care, Elle ensures the baby is later found exactly where his father left him. Meanwhile, everyone else – unaware of Elle’s scheming – begins to question Max’s already fragile state of mind. “This is just another incident that makes everyone look at Max in a different way,” says Kyal Marsh, who plays Max’s son, Boyd, in the series. “They were already worried about him, but to apparently lose his baby looks really bad for Max. They feel they can’t trust him anymore. If he could lose his own son, what else is he capable of?” Before long, however, Max has become suspicious of Elle and decides he has only one course of action – to hire a private investigator and catch her out at her twisted game. Will he succeed?
