Neighbours Stars to Appear at The Music Box Cambs24, UK, 30th May 2007
NEIGHBOURS' stars Kyal Marsh, who plays Boyd, and Ben Nicolas who plays Stingray, are set to appear at The Music Box in St Ives.
Kyal has agreed to appear at a beach party night on Friday, June 8 and Ben - who plays the Australian's soap's main tearaway, will be there on Friday, July 6 for a party just before St Ives carnival.
Ben made his debut in Neighbours after being apprehended by the police for streaking at a football match.
Boyd suffered embarrassment in the show after being dumped by his first-ever girlfriend for bragging about their kiss. These days Boyd has grown-up and considers himself a happily married man.
Both actors are due to fly to the UK for a press conference (sic) now that Neighbours, which has been shown in Britain for 21 years, is changing from BBC One to Channel Five after the BBC said the fee for it was too high.
A spokesman for The Music Box, Shaun Collins, known as Moonie, said: "Normal door prices will apply as the club wishes this to be a thank you to the clubbers for keeping The Box busy." Both the stars will be there to meet and greet and will pose for pictures with the crowd.
