2004 NEWS
Ask the Actor 5th December 2004 Kyal is this month's Ask the Actor. This means he will answer a selection of questions on video. It also means we will get to see what Kyal looks like now rather than what he looked like 6 months ago!

Yahoo! Groups 12th June 2004 There's been a quiet revolution in the Yahoo groups dedicated to Kyal. Kyal Marsh & Other Hotties, the oldest and most popular of the groups, mysteriously disappeared a few weeks ago without any explanation. Even more mysteriously, Kyal Marsh Uncovered disappeared at about the same time, again without any explanation. Is this a sinister big brother style action by Yahoo or did the person/people running these two groups simply decide they'd had enough?
Whatever the reason, the void left has been filled by a new group - Kyal-Marsh 2. It is run by Jack, a stalwart of Kyal Marsh et al, and, as ever, your active support would be much appreciated.

Re: Actor of the Week 12th June 2004 As you'd expect, this was very popular with loads of questions posted on the message board. Unfortunately Kyal only answered a fraction of the questions, none after the second day. Kyal and the rest of the Neighbours cast must be busy people and only take part because it is in their contracts, so the question is why does BBCi go through the pretence of having a different Actor of the Week every week?

Forum 24th April 2004 To satisfy popular demand, I have started a KMO Forum. If you want to chat to other Kyal fans about Kyal, or this website, or storylines involving Boyd (in the UK and Australia), or anything else for that matter, please visit the forum.

GAKYA 1999-2004 21st April 2004 After 5 years of bringing us pictures of young Aussie & Kiwi actors, GAKYA closed on 18th April. GAKYA was the first site to promote Kyal on the web and even today most of the pics of Kyal available on the web, inlcuding on KMO, are from GAKYA. To Gummidge: thank you, and all the best for whatever you do in the future.

Boyd to Man - A Review 17th April 2004 After a great deal of procrastination, the BBC broadcast Episode 4427 unedited on Tuesday (13th April). Well done. It is reassuring to know that the Hutton Whitewash didn't completely remove the BBC's backbone.
Having now seen the episode myself, the scenes weren't much worse than some of the storylines featured recently on Neighbours (Jack-Nina, Jack-Edwina, Jack-Izzy and "Serena poses for internet porn"). If Daily Mail readers can explain to their little darlings why during teatime TV they were watching people jumping to their deaths from hundreds of feet up (as happened on 9/11), then they can explain why Boyd and Sky are doing what most other 16-year olds are doing.
As for the scenes themself - poor Boyd, imagine getting caught by your dad, especially after a lacklustre first time performance. It's enough to make you want to jump into Lassiters Lake. Kyal's portayal of Boyd's getting caught was very convincing. It was almost as if he based his acting on a real life experience... Boyd's discomfort, however, was our gain: we got to see the famous Kyal Marsh six-pack.

Apologies for the poor quality in a few of the pictures - Boyd just kept moving at the wrong moments! Pictures of the scenes at Lou's home can also be found elsewhere on the web and have been available since the episode was aired in Australia. But my favourite shot from the episode is the one below. Kyal looks so beautiful.
I hope to bring you more pictures of Kyal soon but please don't expect too much - I will only do this when I have time. In the mean time, keep visting KMO.

New Kyal Web Site 20th March 2004 Do I not like competition. There is allegedly a new web site dedicated to Kyal, kyalmarsh.co.uk. The link can be found in the...er...links page.
Those of you with a keen eye will notice something familiar about it - it's just the Kyal pages of Sexy Male Celebs, repackaged under a new domain name.
The site contains no info about Kyal, no links and no news. Well, OK then, it does have one piece of news. It claims that the BBC are considering cutting the much-discussed Boyd-Sky scenes but this was first pointed out here on KMO (see below).
The site claims it's going to be the best site dedicated to Kyal. You decide.

Boyd to Man 6th March 2004 Is Boyd finally going to lose his cherry? He and Sky (lucky Sky) get down to some serious lovin' at Lou's house (yes, the same place where Mal and Danni had their first encounter). Apparently it doesn't go too well. And Max barges in on their night of passion as well. The course of true love never ran smoothly.
The episode was shown in Australia on Tuesday (2nd March) and is due to be shown in the UK on Tuesday 13th April.
The big question now is will the BBC have the guts to show the episode unedited straight after CBBC (and the lovely Andrew Hayden-Smith) or will it stick to form and cut the relevant scenes to pieces. Come on BBC, don't be spoil sports. Don't make us wait another six years before we can see Kyal in full glory on UK Gold. If the Aussies can watch it at 6.30pm surely we Brits can watch it 55 minutes earlier.
Thanks to TJ for pointing out the two scans below from the Australian magazine TV Week. From the looks of it, it's going to be another cracker of an episode involving our hero. Roll on 13th April.
